2nd Chances, Inc.
2nd Chances, Inc. provides employment training, counseling, referral and support services to ex-offenders in rehabilitation and in their transition in the workforce. 2nd Chances, Inc. was started in February 2006 by three individuals who had a burning desire to empower and help those who had been incarcerated and were facing challenges finding employment after they had been released. Whether it is teaching basic interview skills, job referrals, or counseling, providing such services not only increases the individuals chances of success, but it also positively affects communities and taxpayers as a whole.

Reconciliation
Our vision is reconciling husband to wife, parent to child, sister to brother, offender to community. Reconciliation recognizes that the families of the incarcerated are forgotten victims of crime. Innocent of any wrong-doing, they often are blamed and ostracized by friends and the community. Through individual and family support, assistance and advocacy, Reconciliation creates an environment where families can support one another in order to meet their basic physical, emotional, and spiritual needs; strengthen and maintain family bonds throughout the crisis of incarceration; and aid in readjustment upon release of loved ones, thereby reducing recidivism and making a safer community for everyone.
