Advanced Horizons
Advanced Horizons Behavioral Health Services at Copper Basin Medical Center is an intensive outpatient program designed to fill the gap between inpatient care and outpatient services. The programs:
- Address symptoms of Depression, Anxiety, Grief and others including Dual Diagnoses;
- provide a stable environment for geriatric, adult and adolescent patients;
- Develop new, effective coping skills for life;
- Work with families and caregivers to provide a smooth transition from an inpatient hospital stay or provent inpatient services.

The Mental Health Initiative, Inc.
The Mental Health Initiative is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting mental health awareness, eliminating the stigmas that are associated with mental illnesses through service and research. We strive to educate the general public of the numerous mental illnesses that affect the lives of so many people and help those suffering from a mental illness to find out how and where to acquire assistance. Our mission is to encourage those suffering from a mental illness to learn, accept, and recover in order to lead productive lives.
Our objective is to take a proactive approach toward community awareness in mental health. We intend to provide information on the affects of mental illnesses, treatment options, and acquiring assistance in local areas through continued outreach, service, research, and advertisement.
Educating the Public: The Mental Health Initiative's will include the use of the internet in order to effectively communicate to the general public mental health education and current research and developments in mental health. The website will cover the DSM-IV definitions of all mental disorders and continue to publish further insightful information that will help to increase understanding of mental illnesses.
Eliminating Stigmas: The Mental Health Initiative intends to eliminate stigmas by confronting issues with the affects of mental health disorders and treatment and by publicizing clarifications to well-known stereotypes. In addition, the organization will produce frequent advertisement campaigns dispelling stereotypes that will be useful in helping to reduce stigmas and promote disclosure so that those who are affected by mental illnesses in any way can feel increase comfort in seeking the necessary assistance.

The Next Door, Inc.
