2nd Chances, Inc.
2nd Chances, Inc. provides employment training, counseling, referral and support services to ex-offenders in rehabilitation and in their transition in the workforce. 2nd Chances, Inc. was started in February 2006 by three individuals who had a burning desire to empower and help those who had been incarcerated and were facing challenges finding employment after they had been released. Whether it is teaching basic interview skills, job referrals, or counseling, providing such services not only increases the individuals chances of success, but it also positively affects communities and taxpayers as a whole.

Economic Opportunities
Responsibility: Programs Participants accept responsibility by entering a disciplined work program 40 hours a week and earn a pay check, improve social and relational skills, team work, respond to authority, and submit to drug and alcohol testing.
Recovery: As participants embrace the “outreach” classes, extra help, counseling etc., a rebuilding occurs through attending Bible studies, Financial & GED classes, developing life skills to manage the constant difficulties & challenges of life, building relationships with Christian leaders, and exposure to Godly ethics and mentors.
Renewal: Personal growth leads to program participants obtaining goals.
Education: Enroll in technical classes and earn specialized licenses such as welding apprenticeships and Commercial Drivers License. Family: Gain the maturity and skill-set to accept roles as spouse, father and leader of household Financial: Establish career and build credit to obtain financial goals such as housing and transportation.

Project Return, Inc.
Founded in 1979, Project Return, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of Middle Tennessee’s prison population for the good of the community as a whole. Nearly three decades of experience have resulted in a holistic case management approach designed to provide services that ensure quality, cost-effective assistance and support for former offenders and their families. The agency provides training and assistance designed to increase employability, improve life skills and coping skills, all in the hope of reducing the likelihood of recidivism.

Regional Inter-Faith Association (RIFA)
RIFA is a local Christian non-profit organization that serves the needs of the poor through RIFA Soup Kitchen, Thrift Store, Food Bank, Home Repair and transportation for the low-income elderly. The RIFA Life Enrichment program offers classes in Christian Women’s Job Corps, Adult Literacy, Adult Basic Education, and Anger Management for Women. Christian Women’s Job Corps participants receive weekly Bible Study, computer training, as well as job and life skill training in topics such as budgeting, nutrition, interview preparation, how to fill out a job application and so much more. Participants are assigned volunteer mentors who encourage them to set and meet personal goals.
